Finding the right workout to meet your goals is never an easy task. And let’s face it, there are a lot of bad ideas floating around out there!
When it comes to building muscle, it took me several years before I knew exactly what worked and what didn’t. There’s a bigger learning curve than most would expect when it comes to lifting weights.
So to help you along, I’m going to offer up my best muscle building workouts – and trust me, these ones really work.

Muscle Building Workouts – How to make them Really Work
The first step to effectively building muscle is establishing an adequate muscle building diet. Without the right diet in place, all your hard work at the gym will go unnoticed.
The main principal of a muscle building diet is protein – lots of protein. Lean sources like fish, chicken, and even beef will all give you a variety of amino acids for maximum muscle support. But in addition to these sources, low-fat dairy products and eggs are also effective.
On average, it’s recommended that you consume about 20 grams of protein in every meal. You should also be increasing the frequency of your meals, in order to continuously fuel your muscles. Snacking on foods like nuts, yogurt, and veggies will provide you with the nutritional support you need.
